Vancouver Halloween Eventful As Always

kitsialno-halloweenOctober 31st has come and gone but if you are wondering just what to do on that big night for next year, below is a list of all the best events the city has to offer.  These venues range from the family-friendly sort to the adult only parties.

Of course the classic events will still were held including the Stanley Park Ghost Train.  The PNE also still hosted Fright Nights.

According to some Halloween 2012 was officially the year of the Zombie, but every year you can get in the mood with some good zombie movies first.

Family friendly events included as mentioned, the Stanley Park Ghost Train.  This  runs  from the 5th of October until the 31st of the month.  This train ride has a scary Grimm’s Fairy Tales theme.  It runs from 6:00 -10:00 pm Sunday to Thursday and until 11:00 on Fridays and Saturdays.

There were matinees on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 am -3:00 pm.  Admission to the train also gets you access to games, crafts and a Haunted House.

Creatures of the Night Candle Lit Walks were also another great family friendly event.  These are guided night walks in candlelight in the Park.

Corn mazes and pumpkin carving fun can also be had at the Pumpkin Patch in Richmond Country Farms.

For Kitsilano families, the Kitsilano Community Centre offers an Howl Spook on October 27th.  The Halloween bash is a favourite of residents and is certainly worth checking out if you are a new to the area.

For some adults only fun make sure to check out the Lost Souls Gastown walking tour on October 31st or teh Dunbar Hauted House on from October 12-31st.  The Zombie Syndrome Interactive theatre offers a zombie lovers something to get excited about and runs from October 13-31st.

Whatever your favourite Halloween event, be sure to dress up and have fun.  For those looking to by a Kitsilano home or condo for sale, Halloween is a great time to come out and see your future neighbours at their spookiest.  Halloween provides the perfect opportunity to take the kids trick-or-treating in the area to get a sense of the community.
