Every year Vancouver hosts an amazing festival of music called MusicFest. Extraordinary music from around the world is promised with everything from jazz, classical and world music lined up.
MusicFest runs for ten days each August. This year the concerts will take place from August 10th-19th.
During the ten day span over forty concerts and events will take place. Diverse musical performances will offer something for everyone.
Whether you are a musical novice or an experienced musical savant, Vancouver’s MusicFest will have something in store for you.
Music spans the globe and music from various centuries will be on offer. This is definitely one of the best music festivals the city has and is one of the reasons the area is home to such a rich and diverse community.
Tickets for the event can be purchased on the day of the venue, subject to availability. The box office will be open one hour before the concert is set to start. This holds true with the exception of the World at Garden: New York Voices which opens its box office doors at 5:30 pm.
Tickets can also be purchased by phone at 1877 840-0457, or online at ticketstonight.ca. Alternatively you can buy your tickets in person at 200 Burrard Street, Plaza Level or at the Tourism Vancouver kiosk at Robson and Howe, or at the Vancouver Art Gallery.
Festival venues vary by concert. Some will be held at the CBC Plaza, the Orpheum Annex and Orpheum Theatre, the Vancouver Playhouse and the Vogue Theatre amongst many others.
Vancouver’s MusicFest is just one more reason why the Kitsilano area is the place to be this summer. The physical beauty of the area is matched only by the rich culture and this combination is what makes Kitsilano real estate such a sound investment.
