Redbull Soapbox Race

Every year auto amateurs, gear heads and adrenaline junkies construct eccentric non-motorized carts to compete head-to-head in a downhill battle. This year Red Bull Soapbox Race travels to Vancouver.

Red Bull Soapbox Race will challenge 56 teams of up to four members each to craft zany human-powered driving machines to race against the clock and each other in a downhill dash to the finish line. On September 7, these road warriors will have the chance to put their skills to the test in Kitsilano down West 4th Avenue, Vine to Burrard. This course will test not only the teams' engineering skills, but their creative prowess as well.
